OLCF Spring Training and Users’ Meeting 2012
- Use compilers on the world-class Cray XK6 system, Jaguar
- Profile your code to find roadblocks to performance
- Optimize your code’s I/O performance
- Choose the right libraries for numerical and I/O performance
- Debug your code, when things go wrong
Experts will be on hand from the OLCF, Cray and other vendors to instruct you and answer your questions on high-performance computing. Presentations of the hardware and software will be given and attendees are encouraged to bring their questions particularly with respect to application issues of concern.
The first two days of Spring Training consist of two parallel tracks. The first track is designed for users who are new to parallel programming and supercomputing in general. The second track is intended for intermediate to advanced users wishing to gain more knowledge of OLCF’s latest resource known as Titan. The final day is the annual OLCF Users’ Meeting provided exclusively for OLCF users.
Registration is required for on-site access to this workshop.
