Abstract
Collecting and presenting data on the performance of kernels or full applications can help identify key optimizations. This training in open to All OLCF users. March 4 Hackathon teams are strongly encouraged to send at least one teammate.
Ian Bogle from AMD’s Software Solutions team will give an overview of Omniperf, a Comprehensive collection and visualization of performance counters with Support for GPU Speed-of-Light Analysis, Empirical Roofline Analysis,Memory Chart Analysis and Kernel Comparisons.
Marcus Wagner from HPE’s Application Engineering Team will overview HPE’s Performance Analysis Tools designed to provide an integrated infrastructure for measurement, analysis, and visualization of computation, communication, I/O, and memory utilization.
