The Oak Ridge Leadership Computing Facility (OLCF) will host its annual GPU Hackathon in downtown Knoxville, TN. The hackathon will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, where we have reserved a block of rooms from October 20-24 at a rate of 103.00 USD/night. Please see the “Travel and Lodging” tab below for the link to receive this rate along with some additional details.

Please note, registration for this event is for teams who have submitted proposals on the main OLCF GPU Hackathon page and have been accepted by the organizing committee.

Photographs of Participants may be taken during the 2019 GPU HACKATHONs and be later published in various media by Organizer or Venue, without payment or other consideration to Participants, to share information pertaining to the 2019 GPU HACKATHONs.

    Lodging:
    The hackathon will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in downtown Knoxville, TN. We have reserved a block of rooms from October 20-24 at a rate of 103.00 USD/night. Please use this link to reserve your room as soon as possible since the number of rooms is limited and will be reserved on a first-come-first-served basis. The deadline for this rate is September 27, 2019.

  • You will want to arrive Sunday, October 20 since we will be starting at 8:00 AM Monday morning.
  • The rate listed above is for a room with 2 double beds. If you would like a Queen (+$10/night) or King (+$15/night), you will need to contact the hotel directly.
  • Parking charge is $10/day.

    • Transportation:
    Knoxville is served by the McGhee Tyson Airport, which is located about 20 minutes south of downtown. If you do not want to rent a car, you can take a taxi, Uber, or Lyft from the airport to the hotel. There are many restaurants and pubs downtown in walking distance from the hotel.
