Qiskit Global Summer School 2026

Registration is now open for the virtual Qiskit Global Summer School 2026 — the latest entry in an annual, global program designed to help students, researchers, and developers build practical skills in quantum computing. The two-week event will run from 13–24 July 2026.
The free, online program builds practical quantum skills with Qiskit through lectures, labs, live Q&As with IBM Quantum experts, and more.
Participants will:
- Learn directly from IBM Quantum researchers and engineers
- Complete guided coding labs using Qiskit
- Apply concepts to real-world quantum workflows
- Join live Q&A sessions with instructors
- Connect with peers through a dedicated Discord community
The curriculum is structured to support a range of experience levels—from quantum novices to experienced users looking to deepen their expertise.
Although bonus hands-on exercises will be available for existing QCUP users that already have access to IBM resources, those exercises are optional and are not required to complete the course. This event is open to all, and is highly encouraged for OLCF Users coming from the HPC world with no quantum experience.
