Abstract:

The Summit supercomputer will be one of first the supercomputers in the world to be built with NVIDIA’s new, Volta GPU architecture. This talk will discuss the key architectural features that make Volta the best processor in the world for HPC and deep learning. I will also discuss new features available in CUDA 9 to make programmers more productive and better able to use NVIDIA GPUs.
