INCITE Proposal Writing Webinar
Through an annual call for proposals, INCITE grants scientists around the world awards of compute time on two of the nation’s most powerful high-performance supercomputers for fundamental research. Typical awards range from 20 to 100 million core-hours. The 2014 INCITE Call for Proposals will be from April 15th – June 28th, 2013 for awards of compute time on the Cray XK7 (Titan) system at the Oak Ridge Leadership Computing Facility and the IBM Blue Gene/Q (Mira) systems at the Argonne Leadership Computing Facility. A total of 5 billion core-hours will be allocated for calendar year 2014.
In preparation for the call for proposals, the INCITE program invites you to register for the INCITE Proposal Writing Webinar, which will be offered twice. Free and open to the public, the webinar will provide both prospective and returning users the opportunity to get specific answers to questions about how to write an effective INCITE proposal. Representatives from INCITE and the Leadership Computing Facilities will host the event. The webinar will be about 1.5 hours. Individuals who register before March 1st will receive information about requesting early access to Mira and Titan.
