World-class support for all aspects of NCCS’s operational and scientific mission
The HPC Computing Group designs, implements, and operates all networking and system services common to all high-performance computing (HPC) and storage services in the division. This group provides world-class support to all aspects of NCCS’s operational and scientific mission. They are focused on increasing the group’s visibility by contributing to open source projects and making key data, techniques, and insights developed by the group openly available. An important role of the group will be to provide a well-defined set of services to other groups within NCCS, centered around the design and operation of high-performance distributed systems.
