The December User Group Conference Call

The December OLCF User Group (OUG) conference call featured an overview of Summit, given by Buddy Bland, and an overview of the CARR call for proposals: Getting Applications ready for Summit, given by Tjerk Straatsma. Eighty-Five users attended. The presentations and user questions generated discussion about software and tools for Summit, the types of applications that will be targeted for Summit, and application portability.

The agenda for the Jaunuary 4th User Group Call will be announced.

The December User Group Executive Board meeting

This meeting was short due to the length of the Summit and applications readiness overviews in the General User Group call.

The Board agreed to have the next meeting on January 14th. The Executive Board meeting agenda will focus on training feedback.
