Project Description

Our computational spray research if aided by OLCF expertise and resources will help UTC business in a number of aspects. The developed capability has the potential to transition high-fidelity spray simulation into a standard design practice. It can be used to help avoid costly trial-and-error tests over multiple iterations and substantially reduces design cycles. It can also provide important insight of controlling physical mechanisms, which will help engineers making more effective design modification decisions.
