Seher Acer joined the Technology Integration group in 2021 as a Research Scientist. Her main role is to develop methods to capture the resource utilizations and requirements of a wide range of user applications running on the current OLCF systems and estimate them for future systems. She is also part of the AI Initiative contributes to the uncertainty quantification and graph neural network efforts.

Seher received her B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Engineering from Bilkent University, Turkey, in 2009, 2011, and 2017, respectively. Before joining ORNL, she was a postdoc in the Scalable Algorithms group at Sandia National Laboratories working as a Trilinos and Kokkos Kernels developer.
