Background

Patrick’s research interests include the design and development of system software and services for the management of experimental, observational, and simulation data in support of collaborative large-scale computational science.

Patrick holds an appointment as Research Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of New Mexico. He has held previous positions at Sandia National Laboratories and Emory University, and prior to his graduate studies was a professional software developer for several companies which no longer exist. He is a Senior Member of both ACM and IEEE.
