Background

Oscar Hernandez has been working in the high-performance computing field for the last ten years. His area of research includes programming models, compilers, and high performance tools. He works on the programming environment for Titan and Summit at the Oak Ridge Leadership Class Facility (OLCF). He has experience in driving many de-facto standards such as OpenACC and participates with the OpenMP community. He is also an active member of SPEC/HPG, which develops benchmarks to evaluate high performance computing systems and tools.
