Background

Junqi Yin is a research staff member of the National Center for Computational Science at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. He obtained his Ph.D. in Computational Physics and M.S. in Statistics from the University of Georgia, and B.S. in Physics and Computer Science from Zhejiang University. His research interests range from scalable machine learning/deep learning to materials science, statistical sampling algorithms especially Monte Carlo sampling. He has been working with domain scientists to scale their applications and workflows on HPC platforms.
