Background

Jack is a member of the User Assistance and Outreach Group, providing technical support and developing user space tools for users of OLCF’s supercomputing resources. Prior to joining the OLCF he was a member of the High Performance Computing Facility team at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital where he assisted users and helped support research and clinical HPC clusters. His goal is to make supercomputing easier and more accessible so scientific end-users can, as HPC systems grow in complexity, increasingly focus on their research and less on technical details of the machines (without compromising performance, of course).
