Background

Henry Monge obtained his PhD from the College of William and Mary in 2019 for his work on the calculation of nuclear matrix elements from Lattice QCD, a technique to numerically solve the effects of strong interactions between elementary particles. Afterwards he was appointed as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and as visiting professor at the University of Costa Rica. Henry’s work at ORNL involves the improvement and further development of applications to for Lattice QCD calculations.
