Background
Don began his career at ORNL over 30 years ago initially supporting systems that spanned the Unix realm such as Sun, SGI, Digital and IBM. After a stint supporting the ESnet Internet connections at ORNL, he has spent the last 20 years in HPC and is currently the group leader for the HPC Scalable Systems Group and the systems technical lead for the Summit supercomputer. He has been the systems technical lead for several Top500 #1 systems over the past decade including Jaguar, Titan, and Summit.
