Deryl has worked in Oak Ridge since 1981 and on the High Performance Storage System (HPSS) since the project started in 1993. He graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 1981 with a B.S. in Computer Science. Skilled in C and Java programming, he is the lead developer for the Storage System Manager subsystem, having done most of the development of the graphical administrative interface for HPSS.
