Strategies for Inclusive Mentorship in Computing

The Exascale Computing Project (ECP) HPC Workforce Development and Retention Action Group will host Reed Milewicz of Sandia National Laboratories for a Webinar about Inclusive Mentorship. Like good software engineering, good human workforce engineering can be built by developing processes that make it easier to widely implement. In this talk, Reed, will describe insights into the science of mentorship, his ongoing research into mentorship among computing professionals, and his experiences with inclusive mentorship training as offered by Center for the Improvement of Mentored Experience in Research.

NERSC N-Ways to GPU Programming Bootcamp
April 5-6, 2023
NERSC, in collaboration with the OpenACC Organization and NVIDIA, is hosting an N-Ways to GPU Programming Bootcamp for 2 days on Wed-Thur, April 5-6, 2023. Beginner users in GPU programming are especially encouraged to attend. During this two-day online Bootcamp, participants will learn about multiple GPU programming models and can choose the one that best fits their needs to run their scientific codes on GPUs.
