Summit New User Training
February 13, 3:00-5:00 p.m. ET
Virtual via Zoom

This training will provide tips to more effectively utilize OLCF resources and is intended both for new and existing users of Summit and OLCF. A hands-on session will follow the presentation that covers how to login and run jobs on Summit. To help you get started, we will also cover the Summit New User Quick Start Guide, available here: https://docs.olcf.ornl.gov/quickstart/index.html.

Frontier Training Workshop
February 15-17, 2023

The Oak Ridge Leadership Computing Facility (OLCF) will host a virtual Frontier Training Workshop February 15-17, 2023. This event is meant to help new Frontier users (or those intending to use Frontier) learn how to run on the system. The first day will feature presentations and a hands-on session. The last two days will feature presentations from vendors and staff. The presentations for this workshop are meant to deliver relevant information about the system (hardware, job launcher, programming methods, etc.), while the hands-on session is intended to help participants learn how to run jobs on the system. ORNL Pathways to Computing Internship Program

Applications for the ORNL Pathways to Computing Internship Program are now open!

The ORNL Pathways to Computing Internship Program (PCIP) is a 10-week summer program that provides undergraduate students with learning opportunities in computing fields. Students will be mentored by ORNL research and technical staff and make contributions to projects in diverse domains while gaining valuable skills needed for a successful career in computing. Selected interns will have access to ORNL’s leadership-class facilities and resources available at the OLCF. Domestic and international undergraduate students enrolled full-time at accredited U.S. colleges/universities are eligible to apply. January 2023 OLCF User Conference Call
Containers on Summit

The January OLCF User Conference Call will be held from noon until 1:00 PM Eastern Time on Wednesday, January 25. Argonne Training Program on Extreme-Scale Computing (ATPESC)
July 30-August 11, 2023

The annual Argonne Training Program on Extreme-Scale Computing (ATPESC) is set to take place July 30-August 11, 2023.
The call for applications is now open through March 1, 2023.
Submit your application for an opportunity to learn the tools and techniques needed to carry out computational science on the world’s most powerful supercomputers. ATPESC participants will have access to DOE’s leadership-class systems at the ALCF, OLCF, and NERSC.
