DOE COMPUTATIONAL SCIENCE GRADUATE FELLOWSHIP ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
The DOE Computational Science Graduate Fellowship (DOE CSGF) Program
is currently accepting applications for 2018/19. The DOE CSGF
Program provides outstanding benefits and opportunities to students
pursuing doctoral degrees in fields of study that advance the use of
high-performance computing to solve complex problems in science and
engineering. For more information, visit:

ARGONNE TRAINING PROGRAM ON EXTREME-SCALE COMPUTING
Computational scientists have the opportunity to apply for the
upcoming ATPESC program, which will take place from July 29 to
August 10, 2018. This program provides intensive hands-on training
on the key skills, approaches and tools to design, implement, and
execute computational science and engineering applications on
current supercomputers and the HPC systems of the future.
Instructions for applying to ATPESC 2018 can be found at:
http://extremecomputingtraining.anl.gov/application, and the
deadline for applicant submissions is Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018.

ASCR LEADERSHIP COMPUTING CHALLENGE (ALCC) CALL FOR PROPOSALS
The 2018 Call for Proposals for the ALCC program is now open.
Open to scientists from the research community in industry,
academia, and national laboratories, the ALCC program allocates
up to 30% of the computational resources at the OLCF for special
situations of interest to the Department’s energy mission, with an
emphasis on high-risk, high-payoff simulations. Applications are
due on February 1, 2018 at 11:59 PM EST.
For more information or to submit a proposal, please visit,

PASC18 CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
The Platform for Advanced Scientific Computing (PASC) is pleased
to announce that submissions are open for the PASC18 Conference,
co-sponsored by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM).
Submissions are invited for papers, mini-symposia and poster
presentations. PASC18 will be held from July 2 to 4, 2018, at the
Congress Center Basel, Switzerland. For more information, please
