CENTER ANNOUNCEMENTS

USER ASSISTANCE CENTER OPEN; FOLLOW NORMAL SUPPORT PROCEDURES
The OLCF User Assistance Center remains open and available for support. Users should follow normal support procedures (including email to help@olcf.ornl.gov and forms on the OLCF website) when reporting issues or requesting help.

MEETINGS & WORKSHOPS

MARCH OLCF USER CONFERENCE CALL (MAR 25)
The March OLCF User Conference Call will be held at noon (Eastern Time) on Wednesday, March 25. The call will include an overview of Job Step Viewer, a utility that provides a graphical view of an application’s runtime layout on Summit, led by OLCF’s Jack Morrison. Details of the call, including information on how to join, can be found on the event page.

INCITE PROPOSAL WRITING WEBINARS (MAY 5, JUN 5)
To help you prepare your proposal for submission, the INCITE program is offering instructional webinars on May 5 and June 5. For more information or to register, visit https://www.olcf.ornl.gov/calendar/2021-incite-call-for-proposals-webinar-2/.

GPU HACKATHON SERIES
The following organizations, in conjunction with OLCF and NVIDIA, will be hosting GPU Hackathons as part of our annual GPU Hackathon Series. These hackathons are 5-day coding events in which teams of developers prepare their own application(s) to run on GPUs or focus on optimizing their application(s) that currently run on GPUs. Teams typically consist of three or more developers who are intimately familiar with (some part of) their application, and they work alongside two mentors with GPU programming expertise. These hackathons offer a unique opportunity for teams to set aside 5 days, surround themselves with experts in the field, and push toward their development goals. During the event, teams will have access to compute resources provided by OLCF. If you’re interested in more information, or to apply, you can visit the site-specific event pages below. If you have questions, please contact Tom Papatheodore.
