CENTER ANNOUNCEMENTS
USER ASSISTANCE CENTER SCHEDULE
The User Assistance Center will be closed on Monday, May 28 due to an ORNL-observed holiday. The normal user assistance schedule (weekdays 9 AM – 5 PM Eastern Time) will resume on Tuesday, May 29. NOTE: The ORNL Computer Operations staff will still be available for limited troubleshooting 24 hours a day.
REMINDER: ACCOUNT SHARING IS PROHIBITED
As many sites begin hosting interns over the summer, we would like to remind you that every individual accessing OLCF systems must do so with his/her own user account. Sharing of accounts, including between advisors/mentors and students, is a violation of the OLCF Security Policy and will result in account termination. If you need assistance in setting up storage locations and/or processes to facilitate sharing of data between individuals, contact the OLCF User Assistance Center and we’ll be happy to assist.

We will give a broad overview of available features and the details necessary to submit and run jobs. For more information, please see the event page.
HPC BEST PRACTICES WEBINAR (JUNE 13)
The next HPC Best Practices Webinar, “Popper: Creating Reproducible Computational and Data Science Experimentation Pipelines”, will be presented from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 13th. Popper is a protocol and command language interpreter (CLI) tool for implementing scientific exploration pipelines following a DevOps approach of unifying software development and operation in order to handle complexity in large codebases.
