2019 INCITE CALL FOR PROPOSALS
The INCITE program is now accepting proposals of computer time on Summit and Titan through June 22, 2018 for high-impact, computationally intensive research campaigns in a broad array of science, engineering and computer science domains. 2019 INCITE CALL FOR PROPOSAL WEBINARS
To help you prepare your INCITE proposal for submission, the INCITE program is offering instructional webinars on May 2 and June 7. To register, visit visit the event page.
NOMINATIONS FOR OLCF USER GROUP EXECUTIVE BOARD
Nominate yourself to run for the OLCF User Group Executive Board. If elected, you will serve on a 10-person board who provide advice and feedback to the OLCF on the current and future state of OLCF operations and services. The term of service for the successful candidates is three years. Elections will be held electronically during the user meeting. Nomination will take place through May 4th. To run, fill out the form.
MEETINGS & WORKSHOPS
OLCF USER CONFERENCE CALL (APR 25)
The April OLCF User Conference Call will be held on Wednesday, April 25 at noon (Eastern Time). This month’s call will include a discussion of CUDA 9 by NVIDIA’s Jeff Larkin. For more information, including instructions on joining the call, please visit the event page.
REGISTRATION CLOSING SOON FOR THE 2018 OLCF USER MEETING
Registration will close on April 30th for the 2018 OLCF User Meeting, which will be held at Oak Ridge National Laboratory on May 15-17, 2018. For more information on the meeting or to register, please visit https://www.olcf.ornl.gov/calendar/2018-olcf-user-meeting/.
PERFORMANCE PORTABILITY WITH KOKKOS (JUL 24-27)
The OLCF will host an on-site Kokkos training event organized by the Exascale Computing Project (ECP) on July 24-27, 2018. This training will cover the minimum required topics to get your application started on using Kokkos. Please see the event page for more details.
HPC BEST PRACTICES WEBINAR (MAY 9)
The next HPC Best Practices Webinar, “On-demand Learning for Better Scientific Software: How to Use Resources & Technology to Optimize your Productivity”, will be presented from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 9th. This webinar will demonstrate how to develop a personalized learning framework leveraging massively open online courses (MOOC), podcasts, social media, videos, and more.
