DOE Cross-Facility Workflows training
April 12, 2023, 11:00 am-3:00 pm ET
Do you need help choosing the right workflow tool? Do you have questions about running workflows on supercomputers? Join us for a joint ALCF, NERSC, and OLCF training on the topic of workflows and workflow tools across the DOE. We will offer a half-day Zoom training with hands-on examples of GNU Parallel, Parsl, FireWorks, and Balsam- all of which can be used at ALCF, NERSC, and OLCF. To ensure you have access to all systems required for the exercises, please register by April 5.

Smoky Mountain Conference Data Challenge 2023
We are seeking researchers of all career stages to register by June 20 for the SMC Data Challenge 2023 (https://smc-datachallenge.ornl.gov/). This data challenge is part of the Smoky Mountains Computational Sciences and Engineering Conference hosted by ORNL. It is comprised of 6 data analytics challenges based on data sets contributed by ORNL. Expert data scientists, as well as students, are called to participate. Winners will be given a DOI (https://doi.ccs.ornl.gov/).
Selected teams will be invited to the conference, give a 3-minute lightning talk and present a poster describing their solution at SMC2023.

2024 INCITE Call for Proposals is Open
The INCITE program is now accepting proposals for high-impact, computationally intensive research campaigns in a broad array of science, engineering and computer science domains. Proposals must be submitted between April 10, 2023 and June 16, 2023. Open to researchers around the world from academia, industry and government agencies, the INCITE program will award up to 60% of the allocable time on DOE’s leadership-class supercomputers: the OLCF’s Frontier, a 1.1 exaflop HPE Cray EX machine, and ALCF’s Polaris, a 25 petaflops and HPE Cray machine and Aurora, a 2 peak exaflops Intel-HPE Cray EX system.
