2017 OLCF User Conference Call: CUDA 8 Coming to Titan
The OLCF hosts monthly User Conference Call. These calls are your opportunity to speak with center personnel to get the latest updates, express any concerns you may have, etc. No registration is required for this event.
Monthly Topic: CUDA 8 Coming to Titan
CUDA 8 comes with a new set of features and will soon be available on Titan. Since NVIDIA develops their toolkits in step with their latest architectures, many of the new features are only available on Pascal GPUs and beyond. Therefore, because Titan uses Kepler-generation GPUs, only a subset of the additional features provided by CUDA 8 will be usable. In this call, I will give a quick overview of what to expect and what not to expect from CUDA 8 on Titan.
Speaker: Tom Papatheodore, ORNL, HPC User Support Specialist / Programmer
ORNL Badged Staff: Because Conference Room 227 (Powell Room) is so small, we recommend staff to use BlueJeans instead.
