2014 OLCF Users Meeting and Getting Started at OLCF Tutorial

Registration closes on July 16, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. EDT.

ORNL Bus Transportation for Tuesday, July 22, 2014:
On Tuesday, July 22, 2014,  an ORNL bus will be provided to pick up participants at three local hotels (DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel ; Staybridge Inn & Suites; and Comfort Inn)  in Oak Ridge, TN.   If you do not have reservations at any of these hotels, please drive and park your car at the hotel most convenient to the hotel you will be staying.  The bus will arrive at:

7:30 a.m. – DoubleTree Hotel
7:55 a.m. – Comfort Inn
8:10 a.m. – Staybridge Inn & Suites at 8:15 a.m.

Transportation will be provided after the poster session (8:00 p.m.).  Attendees are encouraged to use the bus.

Clearance into Oak Ridge National Laboratory:
You will need to provide a photo ID at the Guard Portals and at the ORNL Visitor Center.  You will not be able to enter the laboratory without proper identification.

 

The 2014 OLCF User Meeting will be held July 22-24, at Oak Ridge National Lab in Oak Ridge, TN.  The meeting will feature paired talks from OLCF users and code developers who will provide updates on their scientific accomplishments and code achievements as well highlight their computational requirements for the future.  The agenda also includes a poster session where all OLCF projects are encouraged to share their achievements with the OLCF community.  During the meeting, OLCF staff members will discuss ongoing and future initiatives and engage the attendees in how to best provide for and enhance scientific discovery through leadership computing.

On the day prior to the Users Meeting, there will be a short training session for new users to our center. This afternoon workshop will introduce to you the User Assistance team and help you get started at our center. You’ll get important information on the basic workings of our resources and valuable tips and tricks to help you run successfully.

Poster registration is closed.

We would like to encourage people to give a poster presentation in lieu of a contributed talk.  The poster session will be held at ORNL on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. in Bldg. 5700, Main Street Lobby, and heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served.

Poster title and abstracts should be submitted by Friday, June 27th. Posters should be 30 x 40.  For your convenience, ORNL will print your poster if received by Friday July 11th.  Please send Fernanda your poster in PDF format to [email protected].
